Questions, answered straight.
No hedging where we have real answers, and no overselling where we don't.
Is an AI fitness coach actually effective?
For most people, yes — the biggest driver of results is consistency, and a coach who remembers your schedule, injuries, and goals makes it easier to keep showing up. It won't replace elite-level periodization, but for building and sustaining a habit that actually holds, it works.
Is it safe to use an AI personal trainer?
Generally, yes, for everyday fitness guidance. VividCoach adjusts around injuries and constraints you share, but it isn't a doctor or physical therapist — it doesn't diagnose or treat anything. If you have an injury, a chronic condition, or any medical concern, check with a healthcare provider before starting.
Can an AI coach replace a human trainer?
Not entirely — a great in-person trainer still wins on hands-on form correction and complex rehab. What VividCoach replaces is the coach who forgets your name by week three: daily accountability, a memory that actually holds, and a plan that adjusts to you, without the price tag of ongoing personal training.
Does VividCoach remember my previous workouts and goals?
Yes — that's the core of the app. Every workout, goal, and injury you mention becomes part of a file your coach reads before each conversation. Ask about your knee two months later, and she'll still know which one, and why it mattered in the first place.
How is VividCoach different from Fitbod or Future?
Fitbod builds workouts from an algorithm, with no ongoing conversation or memory between sessions. Future pairs you with a real human trainer at a premium price. VividCoach sits between them: an AI coach with a real personality who remembers you session to session, at a fraction of what a human coach costs.
What does VividCoach cost?
$12.99 a month, or $99 a year for Premium. Logging is free forever — workouts, meals, sleep, and weight, plus 10 coach messages a day and every memory moment. Nothing charges automatically — Premium only starts when you choose it, and you can cancel anytime in two taps, right in the app.
Does it work with Apple Health and wearables?
Yes — VividCoach connects to Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android, syncing steps, workouts, and weight in both directions. When connected, your coach factors sleep and recovery into training suggestions automatically. Nothing is required to use the app without it.
Is my health data private and secure?
Your data is encrypted and access-controlled, and we never sell it. When your coach needs AI to respond, only the relevant context — not your raw health records — gets sent to generate that response. You can export or delete everything from your profile whenever you want.
Can beginners use it?
Yes — plenty of people start with zero gym experience. During setup, your coach asks about your current fitness level and calibrates from there: a walk and a bodyweight session count exactly as much as a barbell workout. Nothing on VividCoach assumes you already know what you're doing.
How do I cancel or export my data?
Cancel like any app store subscription: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. It takes effect at the end of the billing period, not immediately. To export or delete your data, open Profile in the app — both are handled right there.
